Large Badges

My handmade badges are inspired by turn-of-the century patriotic badges and medals given to our nation's heroes and politicians. I have a large collection of vintage badges which I cherish although I have been known to add a unique piece or two to a special bear !

The badges are made of beautiful vintage metallic trims, ribbons, brass charms, foiled wings, patriotic papers, bullion wire and flag bows....many items are very scarce and hard to find.

Trims may vary slightly. Bar clasp pin on the back....they are not child safe. Special orders gladly taken !

Patriotic Bear Badge

This badge consists of an ivory mohair 5"
bear. He is fully jointed and entirely
hand-sewn. This patriotic bear wears a tiny flag bow tie with bell. In his paw, he holds a tiny
black top hat. The attached badge is a portrait
of Teddy Roosevelt surrounded by Victorian
metallic trim. A vintage patriotic ribbon with
star stud & a vintage Roosevelt bear charm hang beneath the T. R. portrait & small silk vintage flag. The badge is 11" long. $ 285.00

Laughing Roosevelt Bear Badge

Honoring the most favorite of presidents, this delightful badge consists of a gold laughing "open mouth" 4.5" Roosevelt bear. He is
fully jointed and entirely hand-sewn. This laughing bear wears a tiny "campaign" hat and flag bow tie. He holds a vintage miniature paper flag. The attached badge is a portrait of Teddy Roosevelt surrounded by Victorian metallic trim. Patriotic ribbons hang beneath the T. R. portrait with a vintage brass charm of the " Roosevelt Bears ". A large brass star at the bottom completes this beautiful badge. The badge is 10" long. $ 295.00
