1998 Theodore Roosevelt & "Patriotic" Bear Badge

This 24" most elegant bear wears a "campaign" hat reminiscent of the ones worn during the Victorian period...it has a vintage flag pinback on the front hatband. Upon his nose he wears a vintage pair of wire spectacles and holds a small brass horn with gold roping and tassels. He wears three vintage pinbacks on his chest and an elaborate 11" patriotic badge.

This charming badge consists of an ivory 5"
mohair miniature bear - fully jointed. The small bear wears a tiny flag bowtie with bell. In his paw pad, he holds a tiny black top hat. The attached badge is a portrait of Teddy Roosevelt with assorted Victorian metallic trim. A vintage patriotic ribbon with star stud & vintage Roosevelt bear charm hang beneath the T.R. portrait & small silk flag.

This rust mohair Teddy Roosevelt is the first in a series of TR's and is fully jointed & softly stuffed with a combination polyfil and pellets. His paw pads are leather and accented with black pearl cotton.
