Small Chanticleer

When a big rooster just wont do....along comes a little one at 11" tall. 

Just a baby, this adorable "Chanticleer" or rooster doll was created in off-white fluffy mohair giving the illusion of feathers. 

The head on this wee fellow is antique German bisque with blue-grey "sleep" glass eyes.

His legs are antique velvet in a cream color & are jointed. He has mohair leggings because he is young and not quite developed. Red & green wool felt wings, a head comb and 3layered tail complete this young rooster. 

 He is stuffed with pellets and polyfil.
